Job Description


As an HR Specialist at DO & CO in Vienna, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our dynamic work environment. You'll be the cornerstone of our HR team, ensuring that our employees are not just assets but cherished members of our DO & CO family.

What you’ll do:

  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing guidance to foster a positive work environment.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and manage employment contracts for new hires, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Employee Registration: Handle employee registration and data entry in our payroll system, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Dismissal and Employee Grievances: Assist in handling employee dismissals, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions while maintaining a fair and legal approach.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Develop and execute effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees have a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Performance Management: Assist in performance evaluation processes, coaching managers on performance issues, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • HR Administration: Manage HR documentation, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring employees are well-informed and satisfied.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Austrian labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for people and an ability to connect on a personal level.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
